Microsoft, Best Buy charged with scam promo

A class action lawsuit claims that Microsoft and Best Buy have engaged in a scam to fraudulently charge Best Buy customers for MSN internet access accounts they didn't sign up for.

Samuel Kim, the plaintiff, says in the suit that he made a purchase at a Best Buy electronics store in February, and as part of a promotion with Microsoft, Best Buy gave him a free trial compact disc for Internet access through Microsoft’s MSN service.
