Microsoft Warns Source Code Downloaders

Microsoft on Wednesday said it sent letters to computer users who have downloaded leaked portions of its Windows source code, warning them that their actions are illegal.

The software giant also has issued warnings on peer-to-peer filing-sharing Internet sites, which have been used by the tech-savvy to spread the stolen source code, which represent the blueprints for the Windows operating system.
