In 2K Games’ newest open world sandbox game, you play as Vito Scaletta, a Word War II vet returning from the war, and the son of Sicilian immigrants. As the game begins in 1945 Empire City (a fictional city based on New York and Chicago), the first thing you are likely to notice is the scope and size of the game. The city covers around 10 square miles, double the original game, and the screenplay that ran over 700 pages. This game is big. Very, very big.
You begin your climb through the ranks of the Mafia and live out your rise over a ten year span. The game features authentic music from the period, four downloadable packs that introduce new vehicles and clothing, and over two hours of in-game cut scenes. In short, a lot of time and effort went into this game.
