Onkyo brings more color to home theater

Onkyo announced today that it is now shipping silver versions of four of its most popular home theater products, including the best-selling TX-SR501 and TX-SR601 A/V receivers, the HT-S760 6.1-channel home theater packages, and SKS-HT510 6.1-channel speaker package. These introductions build upon the success of the company’s previous introductions of optional silver components earlier this year. Suggested retail price for all products is the same for either black or silver models.

“With the advent of new technologies like plasma displays, that are as exciting visually as they are technologically, many consumers are no longer content with traditional black-box style audio components,” said Onkyo Product Manager Don Milks. “Earlier this year, we introduced our 2003 DVD player lineup with optional silver faces to overwhelming dealer and consumer support. Now we are expanding our silver-optional offerings to include our most popular receivers, home theater packaged and speaker systems.”
