Dell to offer 30′ and 23′ LCD TV’s

Dell is giving customers wide aspect, life-like picture quality this holiday season with the introduction of two new LCD TVs. The Dell W3000 30″ LCD TV can be purchased today for $3,299 and the Dell W2300 23″ LCD TV will be available later this year.

Both televisions are high definition (HDTV) ready and include analog and digital inputs for connecting to a computer, integrated television tuners, S-video, component and composite video, and audio inputs.

“The flat, thin design makes these two new LCD TVs ideal for table top or wall-mounted set-up, particularly in small spaces,” said Tim Mattox, vice president of client product marketing for Dell. “The new models add to our line-up of sleek, stylish LCD TVs that are affordable, and packed with great features.

“Customers can expect the same ease in ordering these products online or by phone, and know that they’re all backed by the same quality, service and support we incorporate into all of our products,” Mattox said.

The Dell W3000 30″ LCD TV and the Dell W2300 23″ LCD TV allow users to multitask by viewing images from different sources simultaneously. The W3000 supports Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Picture-out-Picture (POP), and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) for viewing video and/or PC inputs at the same time. The W2300 supports PIP for viewing PC and video inputs at the same time.

For excellent video performance, both televisions incorporate Directional Correlation DeinterlacingTM  (DCDi) technology. DCDi is a video processing technology that generates crisp, clear images even during fast-paced programs like sporting events. Both LCD TVs feature high audio output through speakers that deliver 15 watts per channel of power. The W3000 30″ LCD TV includes detachable, side-mounted speakers, while the speakers on the W2300 23″ LCD TV are integrated.

The Dell W3000 30″ LCD TV is available and the Dell W2300 23″ LCD TV will be available in the United States and Canada. More information and specifications can be found at
