Gaming peripherals manufacturer Nyko Technologies says it's shipping the first air-cooled mouse for the PC.

Based on the company’s Air Flo line of controllers for the PlayStation2, Xbox, and GameCube consoles, the Air Flo Mouse has a built-in fan that filters cool air through pores on the outer shell tomake both high-action PC gaming and general computer use a more comfortable experience.

The two-button mouse with scroll wheel features variable intensity controls to regulate fan power, an ergonomic design with rubber grips for optimum comfort and response, and a precise optical sensor. Nyko says the $30 mouse will appeal not only to fast-twitch gamers but to graphic designers and other professionals who spend long hours of mousework.
