RHA crosses the pond and heads for the big Apple

Check out our full reviews of the RHA MA450i and RHA SA950i headphones

It seems more and more audio equipment is crossing the pond these days and British audio company RHA wants in on the party. Today, RHA launched two pairs of headphones that will retail in Apple Stores throughout North America: the in-ear MA450i and the on-ear SA950i. We’ll be reviewing both models shortly, so stay tuned for that. For now, lets take a look at the specs.

The MA450i earbuds are billed as noise isolating, solid aluminium phones, and feature 10mm drivers encased in each bud. The color options are a bit bland (black and white) but aesthetics clearly aren’t the focus here. The MA450i’s also come equipped with an “Apple specific” three button in-line remote.

The SA950i on-ear phones sport robust 40mm titanium-coated drivers and neodymium magnets, with the goal being to produce professional yet portable sound. Contour forming earcups are included for comfort and the model – like its in-ear cousin – features and in-line remote.

The MA450i’s will be available via Apple Online in mid October and will retail for $50, while the SA950i’s will release at the end of October and will retail for $60
