“Napster today announced that Napster To Go, the first portable music subscription service for the U.S. market, is available for users of the new Audiovox SMT5600 smartphone from AT&T Wireless. For a monthly fee of $14.95 USD, owners of the smartphone will be able to download and play an unlimited number of full-length songs on the go. The SMT5600 will also support individual tracks purchased by Napster subscribers or downloaded a la carte from the Napster Light store. “
$14.95/month still seems pretty expensive for a cell phone service and we do not expect a lot of people to jump on-board immediately.
