“Ten incidents were reported in which the TV/VCR cabinet broke at the ventilation holes in the top rear of the cabinet and fell. Four cases resulted in minor cuts and bruises, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Friday.
The combination TV/VCRs are gray-black and have the following brand names: Panasonic, Quasar, RCA or JCPenney. They were sold nationwide from January 1995 through December 1996 for $300 to $490. Affected by the recall are 13-inch and 20-inch combination sets. “
If you own one of their combination TV/VCR products, head over to the CPSC website and plug in your model number to see if your player is one of the models being recalled.
